<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize display on a display means for making users in two or more language areas understand that it is a waiting time not in failure but in the middle of activation when a main program(application and the like) is in the middle of activation. <P>SOLUTION: A pre-activation control means by using kernel causes LCD 80 to perform screen display during activation when the power of the main body device is turned on. As the screen display during the activation, the pre-activation control means writes a prescribed first-stage displaying image stored in ROM 308 to VRAM 312 so that the LCD 80 displays the data.
