<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a RFID data carrier capable of adjusting the strength of antenna directivity. <P>SOLUTION: In a RFID data carrier 1 equipped with an IC portion 3 and an antenna portion 4 on a substrate 2, a pattern shape having straight line type wave directors 4-2, 4-2 disposed in parallel at both sides across straight line type radiators 4-1, 4-1 is adopted as the shape of the antenna portion 4. While a line width of the radiator 4-1 and the wave director 4-2 is set within the range of 3-15 mm, respectively, a gap between the radiator 4-1 and the wave director 4-2 of one side is set to a value shorter than a gap between the radiator 4-1 and the wave director 4-2 of the other side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
