<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protective tool such as foot cover or arm cover, capable of safely protecting human hands and feet by withstanding impulse force and cutting force when a sharp edged tool, particularly a rotating edged tool such as bush cutter is mistakenly brought into contact with human hands and feet. <P>SOLUTION: The protective tool has a cutting resistance layer having ≥600 g/m<SP>2</SP>total basis weight and obtained by laminating a plurality of woven or knitted fabrics composed of high-strength and high-tensile elastic fiber having at least ≥15 cN/dtex tensile strength and ≥400 cN/dtex tensile modulus and a cushion layer composed of one or a plurality of woven or knitted fabrics arranged on the inner layer surface of the cutting resistance layer and having ≥4 mm thickness and is obtained by covering the whole surface or at least surface with clothing-specified woven or knitted fabric and sewing at least the vicinity of the end face according to the shape of protective tool. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
