<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To estimate the quality of a network even when a measuring instrument fails to receive data by a receiving part by performing measurement with high precision concerning a data amount "good put" which is actually received by a communication terminal; a data amount "packet loss" which does not reach a communication opposite party, and a packet loss data amount "packet loss occurrence place" between the measuring instrument and the communication terminal, in the instrument for measuring the quality of the network. <P>SOLUTION: In a processing to measure the quality of the network by the measuring instrument, the data receiving part receives the data, a filtering part performs the flow identification of the data received by the data receiving part, and a quality determining part determines existence of the good put or packet loss and the packet loss occurrence place, based on ACK number information and SN number information for every same flow, which are managed by a state monitoring part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
