PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insulated power cable excellent in direct-current breaking strength standing a long-hour extrusion molding without damaging impulse characteristics. SOLUTION: A cross-linking resin composition containing a compound (A) having two or more maleimide groups in a molecular structure, with a gelatinizing time at 200°C of 10 minutes or more by 0.05 to 0.5 mass part to 100 mass parts of polyolefin, and further containing an organic peroxide cross-linking agent, is extrusion-coated as an insulating layer to be cross-linked to make up the insulated power cable.
