PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a digital data reproducing device, a digital data reproduction processing device, and a digital data reproduction method that enable proper sound field processing to be performed while maintaining an excellent reproduction state. SOLUTION: A client control section 12 adds dummy data of prescribed time length to supplied music data and outputs the resulting data to a DIR 13. The DIR 13 supplies the supplied data to an audio DSP 14, which performs decoding/demodulation and sound field processing. At this time, a system microcomputer 11 reads the format of the music data based on the dummy data added to the head of the music data, selects a proper processing method, and makes the audio DSP 14 process the music data.
