PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a pneumatic solid tire improved in production quality such as appearance without spoiling the properties of the tire. SOLUTION: When the pneumatic solid tire is produced by using a mold 10 split into an upper mold 11 and a lower mold 12, a process in which a green tire 1 is formed by winding at least two kinds of rubber layers and a process in which an auxiliary rubber layer 4 different from a tread rubber layer 3 is arranged additionally on the outermost layer of the green tire 1 are included.
