<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely store highly confidential data in a memory card by making analysis of data stored in the memory card difficult. <P>SOLUTION: The inside of a data region 30 of a semiconductor memory 42 is provided with managing regions 33-36 for an FAT file system, a dedicated data region 31 storing data of a dedicated file system different from the FAT file system, and a dedicated file system managing region 32 indicating an access method to the dedicated data region 31. Data reproduced based on the information in the managing regions 33-36 for the FAT file system is set as data different from data reproduced from the dedicated data region 31 based on the information in the dedicated file system managing region 32 and different data between two memory cards storing the same data in the dedicated data region 31. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
