<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively detoxify a cleaning oil used in an oil-cleaning type gas cleaning treatment for treating an exhaust gas exhausted by a heat treatment of an object to be treated which is polluted by an organo halide. <P>SOLUTION: A method for treating an exhaust gas generated when a contaminant polluted by an organohalide is heat treated is provided with an oil-cleaning type gas cleaning process removing the organohalide from the exhaust gas by contacting the exhaust gas with a cleaning oil, an oil and water separation process separating the cleaning oil used in the oil-cleaning type gas cleaning process and the water, a first distillation process separating a first distillate and a first bottom liquid by a distillation of the separated oil, and a second distillation process separating a second distillate and a second bottom liquid by a distillation of the water separated in the oil and water separation process and is characterized in detoxifying the organohalide contained in the first bottom liquid. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
