PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To search facilities in the vicinity of a guiding course driven more than once in the past on the basis of ambiguous user's memory. SOLUTION: A computer 30 extracts the data of intersection on the guide course to display information (intersection imaging showing intersection configuration, intersection name and time required for passing) for pinpointing the intersection. Therefore, when the user has ambiguous memory that the desired facilities existing near this intersection on the guide course, the user can pinpoint the intersection on the basis of ambiguous memory by matching ambiguous memory with information for pinpointing the intersection displayed. Then, when specified information is selected the road map including the intersection is displayed on the basis of selected information.
