The invention relates to a continuous tumble flap arrangement disposed along serially placed cylinders, which are made of steel for safety reasons. The aim of said invention is to produce the system in as few as possible working steps, in particular shaping steps and with inexpensive spare parts which makes it possible to modify, in particular a tumble flap arrangement low-costly adaptable to different engines, wherein the flap inserts, including bearings (6) for the shafts (3, 4, 5) of tumble flaps (2a) are cast from a plastic material in one piece and blades and intermediate shafts (3) of the tumble flap arrangement are individually made of a metal. The shafts and blades are welded only once when they are positioned in the plastic flap inserts, in particular when the intermediate shafts (3) are placed in the bearings thereof.
