PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens cap that eliminates the trouble to separately use the lens cap and a lens case, can speedily store an interchangeable lens, and can be manufactured at low cost. SOLUTION: A front-side mount part 21b and a rear-side mount part 31b are provided at opening-side peripheral edge parts of a nearly closed-end cylindrical front cap 20 and a rear cap 30 and the rear-side mount part 31a can be mounted on the front-side mount part 21b. The front cap 20 and rear cap 30 are mounted on the interchangeable lens 10, the rear-side mount part 31b is threadably engaged with the front-side mount part 21b, and the rear cap 30 is mounted on the front cap 20 to protect the entire outer peripheral part of the interchangeable lens 10, thereby enabling the lens cap to be used even as a lens case.
