PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of plastic lens which is capable of minimizing the foaming of bubbles and obtaining sufficient degassing effect in a short time upon the vacuum degassing operation in a preparation process of a monomer composition and, as the result, permits high efficiency, and to provide a plastic lens obtained according to the manufacturing method of plastic lens. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the plastic lens obtained by reacting a monomer composition including at least one polyisocyanate compound, at least one polythiol compound and an additive comprises a process of performing a first vacuum degassing by charging a part of the whole amount of the monomer composition into a tank and a process of performing a second vacuum degassing by charging the remainder of the monomer composition.
