PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a knee bolster structure of a vehicle capable of setting various strengths by combination of different shapes, plate thicknesses, etc., precluding movement of the under-part of a knee bolster panel when the knee of a driver/passenger of small physique goes in collision, absorbing the knee loads of driver/passengers having various physiques, and enhancing the impact absorbing performance for various forms of collision. SOLUTION: The knee bolster structure of the vehicle is structured so that a left 4 and a right upper panel member 5 having flanges 14a, 14b, 15a, 15b are installed at a certain spacing on a steering support member 3, and the upper panel members 4 and 5 are equipped with upper panel parts 8 and 9 extending from the steering support member 3 toward inside the cabin and lower panel parts 10 and 11 extending from the upper panel parts 8 and 9 downward and to ahead of the vehicle, wherein the upper panel parts 8 and 9 are equipped with bends 8a and 9a having flanges furnished with notches 16 and 17, while notches 18 and 19 are formed in an upper and a lower flange of the lower panel parts 10 and 11, and the lower panel parts 10 and 11 of the upper panel members 4 and 5 are coupled with the steering support member 3 through the lower panel members 6 and 7.
