<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ROM type optical recording medium equipped with a reflective layer by which a reproducing signal having a successful jitter property can be acquired for reproducing data as desired with small load to the earth environment. <P>SOLUTION: The ROM type optical recording medium equipped with a substrate 1 in which a plurality of concave pits are formed on its surface, a light transmission layer 4, and a reflective layer 3 formed between the substrate 1 and the light transmission layer 4, is configured to reproduce data by radiating laser beam through the light transmission layer 4. A concave pit 2a has the length longer than the basic length BL which is determined according to the data to be recorded, the length of space 2b between the concave pits adjacent each other in the direction of tracks has length shorter than the basic length BL, and the reflective layer 3 is made of materials which consist of aluminum (Al) as a principal component and an additive added to this. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
