<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface-mounting white LED in which lead-free is promoted by considering an environment problem, without affecting brightness and whiteness in a white emission. <P>SOLUTION: As a circuit wiring 1b, a nickel plating layer 12, palladium plating layer 13, and gold plating layer 14 are sequentially formed on a copper material 11.
