DRIVING METHOD FOR LIGHT EMITTING DISPLAY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a light emitting display which is prevented from abnormally emitting light owing to a leak current.

SOLUTION: Disclosed is a driving method for the light emitting display in which: a light emitting element is connected to each of intersections of anode lines and cathode lines arranged in a matrix; the anode lines or cathode lines are designated as scan lines and the other lines are designated as drive lines; and a drive source is connected to a desired drive line according to scanning while a scan line is scanned to make the light emitting element connected to the intersection of the scan line and drive line illuminate. The driving method is characterized in that a reverse voltage which is 50 to 200% of a voltage applied at light emission is applied to all the light emitting elements in a specified period.
