<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently and accurately measure and analyze the characteristics of each monolayer carbon nanotube that forms a carbon nanotube assembly. <P>SOLUTION: A bundle-like carbon nanotube assembly and cycloamylose solution are blended and subjected to ultrasonic treatment, thereby producing carbon nanotube containing solution where monolayer carbon nanotubes are dispersed and contained. The carbon nanotube containing solution is filtered, then dropped onto a rotating substrate, and dried, thereby producing a carbon nanotube thin film. The characteristics of the monolayer carbon nanotubes are analyzed using Raman microspectroscopy method for the monolayer carbon nanotubes uniformly dispersed in the carbon nanotube thin film. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
