摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform high-accuracy measurement while curtailing a sensor cost in constructing a gas sensor system for minutely measuring gas concentration by connecting a plurality of gas concentration sensors to each other through a network. <P>SOLUTION: An infrared gas sensor U0 and semiconductor gas sensors U1 to Un are mixedly placed in a same room M. The gas sensor U0, comprising a measurement part 12 for measuring gas concentration by using infrared rays, is expensive while being capable of performing absolute measurement with high accuracy. The gas sensors U1 to Un, performing gas concentration measurement by semiconductor elements 22, are inexpensive while being capable of only relative measurement. An arithmetic processing part 24 of each of the gas sensors U1 to Un transmits a calibration request from a communication part 23 to the gas sensor U0 when measurement values become stable at low values in the night enough to determine that no persons are present in the room M, calibrates measurement values of an own instrument by using measurement values returned from a communication part 11, and thereafter corrects measurement values for outputting by using their differences. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p>
