PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for an adhesive, which shows a high adhesive strength in a low-temperature environment and causes little staining of an adherend. SOLUTION: The composition for the adhesive contains, against 100 wt.% total weight of the composition, 95-99.9 wt.% amorphous olefin polymer (component (A)) and 0.1-5 wt.% ethylene polymer (component (B)), wherein the ethylene polymer (component (B)) is the one wherein the maximum crystal melting peak within a temperature range of -100 to 200°C is observed at≤120°C in differential scanning calorimetry.
