<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the service life of an LCD panel while maintaining an effect of enhancing light utilization efficiency which is the intrinsic object of microlenses. <P>SOLUTION: In a microlens array 31 comprised of a plurality of the microlenses corresponding to respective pixels two-dimensionally arrayed in accordance with the prescribed pixels, the microlenses are constituted by combining first microlenses 32 corresponding to one pixel electrode 22 respectively and a plurality of second microlenses 33 with one other. The first microlenses facing the pixel electrodes 22 have first convex lens faces 34a and second microlenses 33 have the second convex lens faces 34b in the direction approximately opposite to the first convex lens faces 34a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
