<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electronic equipment having a first unit and a second unit connected through a biaxial connecting part to the first unit, and to discriminate and detect its posture as a notebook-size PC and its posture as a tablet PC with high reliability. <P>SOLUTION: The electronic equipment is provided with a first magnetic sensor 271 and a second magnetic sensor 272 arranged at a connecting part 40 side of a keyboard 21 of the first unit 20, a first magnet 341 arranged at the connecting part 40 side of a display screen 31 of a second unit 30, and configured to approach the first magnetic sensor 271 to act on the first magnetic sensor 271 when the second unit 30 is put in a first closed status that the second unit 30 is overlapped with the first unit 20 with a display screen 31 faced to the first unit 20 and a second magnet 342 configured to approach the second magnetic sensor 272 to act on the second magnetic sensor 272 in a second closed status that the second unit 30 is overlapped with the first unit 20 with the back face of the display screen 31 faced to the first unit 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
