PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parallel computer system capable of efficiently entering jobs. SOLUTION: The parallel computer system comprises: calculation nodes 3-1 to 3-n capable of executing entered jobs; a local disk 33 in which the execution environment of an interrupted job is stored when the calculation node executing the job interrupts the job in execution; and a job management node 11 for selecting and entering the job to be executed from a plurality of jobs previously stored and waiting for execution when one of the calculation nodes 3-1 to 3-n is turned to an empty state. The job management node 11 selects a plurality of entering candidate jobs as jobs to be executed, determines an entering destination node whose entering cost supposed when each selected entering candidate job is entered becomes minimum on the basis of the execution state of the job and the storing state of an execution environment in each node and sets the entering candidate job whose entering cost of the decided entering destination node is minimum to an entering job.
