PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operability by excluding the changeover switch of a PC-television from a remote controller in operating a PC 10 and the television of a monitor 100 with a TV function by a single remote controller. SOLUTION: An IR light receiving part 140 determines whether a picture displayed on a display device 830 is a PC screen or a television screen on the basis of the switching situations of an input switching part 120, and transfers data to a TV circuit 810 or a PC 10 on the basis of the screen displayed on the display device 830.
