PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toroidal continuously variable transmission enabling an increase in the strength of a link supporting a trunnion without increasing a device load. SOLUTION: This toroidal continuously variable transmission comprises an input shaft to which a rotating torque is inputted, an input side disk and an output side disk concentrically and rotatably supported on the input shaft in the state of their inner surfaces facing each other, a trunnion 6 swinging about a pivot shaft deviated from the center axes of the input side disk and the output side disk, a power roller supported on the trunnion 6 and held between the input side disk and the output side disk, and the link 23 swingably and axially displaceably supporting the pivot shaft of the trunnion 6.
