PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device capable of improving information transmissibility. SOLUTION: The display device comprises; a screen 5 which is provided on a wall surface 105 opposite to a platform 101 of a station yard over a rail track 102; a projector 3 which is provided on a wall surface 104 of the platform 101 side; and a control section for displaying an image G1, for example, on the screen 5 by projecting projection light L to the screen 5 by controlling the projector 3. Thereby, the image G1 is surely paid attention to by a passenger waiting for a train at the platform 101 and as a result, the information transmissibility is substantially increased.
