PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for making fine holes, a tool used for the method, and a method and a device for manufacturing a liquid injection head. SOLUTION: A metallic base plate 55, in which hollowed parts 33 aligned in a line are formed, and male dies 57, 59 are prepared. The male dies 57, 59 are provided with punch lines 56a, 58a, and, on the front end parts of the punches 56, 58 in the vicinity of at least the end parts of the punch lines 56a, 58a, an inclined face 56g is formed in such a way that the center part sides of the punch lines 56a, 58a are retreated to the pressing-in direction of the punches 56, 58. Fine holes 34 are formed in the metallic base plate 55 by advancing the male dies 57, 59 to the plate 55, and the lines of fine holes aligned in a line are formed on the metallic base plate 55. Thus, the accuracy of alignment of the fine holes 34 is improved, so that wear and damage of the punches 56, 58 are remarkably reduced. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
