The visibility angle information can be acquired from a visibility angle control unit for controlling a visibility angle changing unit for changing the visibility angle. The visibility angle information may be so acquired either that an operation unit performs the operation to change the visibility angle or that an application executing unit executes a predetermined application. As a result, the state of the visibility angle of a display device can be grasped such that a user looks at the display screen of the display device from the front.
