Saw chain for a chain saw

The saw chain is guided on a guide rail round the tip of the rail. The cutting tooth device (6, 7) and enlarging tooth device (8) are fitted alternately in the feed direction (5) of the chain, linked by connecting members. The cutting teeth may alternate between left-hand and right-hand cutting teeth, either of which may form outer cutting edges and tips.
