A cooking oven comprises an outer housing 16 having a muffle or inner lining, which is fastened in the housing 16 and has an opening closed by means of a door. The muffle or inner lining is formed of a lower base 18, a casing 40 defined by two side walls 44 (46, Fig.1) and a rear wall 30, and an upper ceiling 42. A fastening unit 10 connects a rearward region 14 of the base 18 with the outer housing 16. The fastening unit 10 comprises two connecting means 20, 20' in the form of straps, integrally formed in the corner regions of the base 18 which extend beyond the rear wall 30. Each connecting means 20, 20' comprises a shaped horizontal strap 48 integrally connected to a vertical strap 50 in which two fastening holes 52, 54 are formed and which define a contact surface 56 for direct coupling to the outer housing 16. The strap 50 is connected to further straps 58 and 60 to define a U-shaped profile. The strap 60 is welded at points 76, 78 to the muffle or inner lining casing 40. |
