A controller for collision object protection devices for absorbing impact when a collision object collides a hood, the controller including a prediction mechanism for predicting a collision of at least a vehicle and a detection mechanism for detecting the collision of the vehicle. The controller has a controlling mechanism for controlling operation of the collision object protection devices at different timings.
