<p>The device has front and lateral protection barriers delimiting a cook top. The two lateral barriers have arms with square shaped bar ends sliding in horizontal grooves of a rod end to extend depth of the lateral barriers. The front barrier has front arms with square shaped bar ends (6) sliding in horizontal grooves (1a) of a central shield (1) to extend width of the front barrier. An aluminum sheet is inserted at inner edges of the barriers.</p>
