The device has an electric braking actuator (10), and a control unit (15) constituted by a handle (16) mounted on a support (17). An elastic unit (33) is compressed to generate a force that is reflected in a handle (16) via a cam (31), from a cross-bar (20) and a connection unit (22). The compression of the elastic unit is increased, when pivoting of the handle is increased i.e. braking requested by a user is more. An independent claim is also included for an electric quad type motor vehicle comprising a braking device.
