<p>In the present invention, there is disclosed a lubricant device (1) for a plurality of lubricating stations, in particular for supplying lubricant to a plurality of lubricating stations in a knitting machine, having a pump device (7a) for pumping lubricant, the pump device (7a) having a piston (21) supported axially displaceably within a cylinder (8) and having a distributor device (7b), by means of which the lubricant pumped by the piston (21) is distributed to one or more lines (5) of a group (4) of lines (5) leading away from the distributor device (7b). The invention is characterized in that said distributor device (7b) and said pump device (7a) form the only distributing and pumping device (7) the piston (21) of which is connected to a drive device (33) and the device (33) includes a rotating device for rotary control motion of the piston (21) and a displacement device for axial pumping motion of the piston (21). When carrying out lubrication of machine lubrication stations by means of at least one above described lubricating device (1), the lubricant is supplied by a distributing and pumping device (7) through a line (5) to the lubricating stations in intermittent manner. For supplying one or plurality of lubricating stations with a lubricant through a corresponding line (5), optionally corresponding lines (5), the lubricant is supplied by the distributing and pumping device (7) under pressure varying in time.</p> |
