PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dispense with mannual time adjustment by detecting no signal condition of broadcasting signal with first detection means, detecting whether the broadcasting starts from the non signal condition or not with second detection means, detecting a time signal at the start of broadcasting with third detection means, and setting the time in a timepiece with time set means according to the detection time signal. SOLUTION: A synchronization signal with a complex video signal from a tuner 3 is synchronization separated by a synchronization separation circuit 4 and a synchronization signal is supplied to a synchronization determination part 5. The part 5 sends the result to a selection part 2 after determining the existence of the shychronization signal. The part 2 sends the signal of the result to an operation condition confirmation part 1. The part 1 turns a flag into '1' when it determines the existence of the signal, and when determines that there is no signal it turns the flag '0', then the determination whether the selection of time broadcasting channel can be made or not, and whether the signal exists or not are made, and the correction setting of time according to the time signal are made together with a time signal detection part 7. Namely, a first time signal is specified by the part 7 at the time when a broadcasting signal is started to be output after the broadcasting signal is output at a certain time and the broadcasting is finished and then the broadcasting signal is started to be output. |
