PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently perform the high density laying of wiring concerning a method for designing a circuit board. SOLUTION: This method for designing a circuit board is provided to connect a pad to which the terminal of an electronic device is connected to a terminal for external connection for forming a rat's nest, and to select a region where the density of the line of the rat's nest is the highest, and to set a design rule concerning the path and dimensions of wiring in the region where the density of the line of the rat's nest is the highest, and to lay wiring in the region where the density of the line of the rat's nest is the highest, and to confirm whether or not the laying of wiring is possible in the region where the density of the line of the rat's nets is the highest, and to repeat the setting of the design rule and the laying of wiring when the laying of wiring is impossible, and to lay the wiring of the residual region according to the set designed rule when the laying of wiring is possible.
