<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fusible printing medium (2) for ink jet printing. <P>SOLUTION: The fusible printing medium (2) contains a substrate (4) and fusible layers (6, 6') and the fusible layers (6, 6') comprise at least one organic pigment (10) and at least one solid plasticizer. As at least one organic pigment (10), solid plastic pigment, hollow plastic pigment or composite plastics are mentioned. As one solid plasticizer (12), a phthalate compound, isophthalate compound, terephthalate compound, benzoate compound, high molecular adipic acid salt or their mixture can be used.
