<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide engaging structure in which an engaging projecting part is easily restored to a groove part where it is positioned before, even if it comes off from the groove part, and to provide an image forming apparatus equipped with the engaging structure. <P>SOLUTION: The groove 86 is formed on an arm 80, and the engaging projecting part 88A, projected from a moving member 88 arranged inside a housing 12, is engaged in the groove 86. The moving member 88 can move along the housing 12, and an outer periphery rib 90 is formed along the outer periphery end of the arm 80 on the side of the arm 80, where the engaging projecting part 88A is engaged. A groove circumferential rib 92 is formed around the groove 86, and a parallel rib 94 is formed nearly in parallel with the groove 86, while sandwiching a rotation center hole 82 inbetween.
