<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the transfer of a group job from being interrupted by executing an off-line job. <P>SOLUTION: A scheduler receives a status which indicates that the analysis of a member print job belonging to the group job is started, by a printer 102 subjected to the transmission of the member print job from a print server 101 (S711), and immediately provides instructions on the stop of the print job (S712). These steps are repeated for all print jobs in a group (S716). When the reception of all the jobs is checked (S720), a job restart instruction is issued in order from the leading job, in accordance with the order of the print jobs in the group (S721).
