PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor cooling structure that prevents a cooling liquid from entering the inside of a housing. SOLUTION: The cooling structure of a motor 10 is provided with the housing 20, and a cooling water passage 50 formed in the sidewall 24 of the housing 20. The cylindrical housing 20 includes a motor 30 inside. The cooling water passage 50 is provided with a cooling water passage 52 and lid members 60. The cooling water passage 52 has core supporters 79 that project outward and is continuously formed along the circumferential direction of the housing 20 in the inside of the thickness of the sidewall 24 of the housing 20, by forming the housing 20 using the core 70 matching the space of the cooling water passage 50. The lid members 60 seal holes 25 of the marks of the core supporters 79 opened in the outside circumferential surface 24a of the sidewall 24 of the housing 20. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
