PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small SAW (surface acoustic wave) filter that is inexpensive and has high productivity. SOLUTION: This SAW filter is provided with a surface acoustic wave element H, an insulating substrate 1 for mounting the surface acoustic wave element H and a first resin covering part 9 formed so as to cover the outer circumferential part of the surface acoustic wave element H. Since a phase circuit 10 formed by an inductor is arranged on the outer circumferential part of the first resin covering part 9 and the phase circuit 10 is connected to a land part 3 provided on the insulating substrate 1, the phase circuit 10 may have a simple configuration, wherein the phase circuit 10 is provided on the outer circumferential part of the first resin covering part 9 to accordingly provide a small SAW filter which is not only inexpensive with high productivity while the number of components is smaller than in the conventional one, but also the occupancy space for the phase circuit 10 is small.
