<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for displaying the residual amount of a battery which is excellent in power saving, operability and cost performance, and to provide an electronic apparatus having the device. <P>SOLUTION: This display device, which is used for the electronic apparatus, is provided with: a plurality of lamps arranged at visible positions when the electronic apparatus is placed on a desk so as to be operable for gradually displaying the residual battery, a detecting part for detecting currents and a voltage flowing to a load connected to the battery; an operating button arranged at the visible position; and a control part for calculating the residual battery from the detection result of the detecting part when the operation button is depressed, and for turning on the lamps corresponding numbers to the calculated residual battery and turning off all the lamps which have been turned on after the lapse of a fixed time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
