PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an armrest device allowing stepless angle adjustment and returning only by the operation of an armrest, having a reduction in weight, in number of components, and in cost. SOLUTION: When the armrest 3 is in an angle adjustable range from an initial position, a coil spring 7 wound around a fixed body is tightened by the downward turning of the armrest so as not to turn the armrest downward, while the coil spring is loosed by the upward turning of the armrest so as to turn the armrest upward. When the armrest comes beyond the angle adjustable range, the coil spring is guided by a spring guide 8 and held in a fixed loose state so as to turn the armrest downward, and when the armrest is returned to the initial position, the coil spring is guided by the spring guide and returned to the original state.
