<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coder, an imaging apparatus, a decoder, and a processing method of image data which are applied to a video camera for recording an imaging result of a moving picture, and an electronic still camera, and a supervisory apparatus or the like for improving the efficiency of intra-coding processing more than that of prior arts. <P>SOLUTION: The coder applies intra-prediction to image data by scanning an image from its surrounding toward its center in spiral in the unit of macro blocks. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
