A flip-top carton is folded from a fabrication made in one piece, comprising a main panel C2, L2 to form the rear side of the carton container and lid, panels C4, C5, C6, C7 to form the sides of the container, panels L4, L5, L6, L7 to form the lid, the container front panel C1, container panel R1 and the base panel C3 and a top panel L3 and a front panel L1 for the lid. In order to be able to manufacture the flip-top carton accurately and durably in a form in which it can be filled after completing the construction, the folding will comprise the stages in which the main panel C2, L2 is pressed into a rectangular opening in a matrix, such that the panels C4, L6, C5, L7, L3 and C3 are bent into planes perpendicular to the main panel, in which the front panels of the container and the lid C1 and L1 are folded into a plane which is parallel to and at an interval from the rear panel C2, L2, whilst the other panels are introduced into the matrix, and in which the partially folded fabrication is pressed into a second matrix, in which the outside panels C6, C7, L4, L5 of the carton are folded down to thus form the finished carton. <IMAGE> |
