PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner allowing a user to easily perform temperature setting (recommendation setting temperature) of optimum room temperature according to environment (air temperature), allowing energy-saving operation of the air conditioner, and allowing improvement of operability in use by allowing reduction of frequency wherein resetting of the setting temperature is performed. SOLUTION: In this air conditioner, a remote controller operation-controlling an air conditioner body has a key operation part setting the room temperature, and a display part displaying temperature. The air conditioner body has: a room temperature detection part detecting the room temperature; an outside air temperature detection part detecting outside air temperature; a temperature setting part set by the key operation part; and a storage part storing a history of data on the detected room temperature and the setting temperature set on the basis of the outside air temperature. After an operation start of the air conditioner, the indoor recommendation setting temperature is calculated by the detected present room temperature and outside air temperature, and the storage data on the setting temperature to the detected temperature, stored in the storage part.
