PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for exchanging an extrusion cylinder of an extruding machine capable of exchanging rapidly. SOLUTION: In a device for exchanging an extrusion cylinder wherein an extrusion cylinder comprises a plurality of cylinder sections and a warm element in the cylinder which is connected to a driving mechanism of an extruding machine upon extruding, a frame or table like carrier 7 is set forth for supporting an extrusion cylinder 4, and the extrusion cylinder 4 is held through the carrier in a storage means 10 and a movable transportation means 21 and in the storage means 10 and/or the transportation means there is equipped with a dynamic mechanism capable of moving the extrusion cylinder 4 in the direction vertical to a cylinder axis which is necessary for moving the extrusion cylinder 4 as a whole from the storing means 10 to the transportation means 21 and visa versa.
