The method involves propelling a tool, which is used for processing a workpiece, using a rotatable operating spindle (28). A clean compressed air is supplied from outside over a supply pipe to a clamping mechanism (32) which receives the tool after cooling the compressed air upto -40 degree Celsius. An atomizer finely distributes lubricants in the compressed air within the clamping mechanism. An independent claim is also included for a cooling system for machine processing of a workpiece.
