<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an environmental load evaluation device capable of easily digitizing loads that individuals' daily activities give to the global environment. <P>SOLUTION: Of daily activities, the activities assumed to give loads to the environment are stored in environmental load value reference information 5a as items of environmental loads, and loads per unit that are supposed to be given to the environment when the activities are taken are stored as numerical values (e.g., CO2 emissions or the like) in association with the items of environmental loads. Thus, the user can calculate the loads that his/her own daily activities have given to the environment as numerical values, by selectively inputting the items that match his/her own daily activities and their amounts (time length) from the items of environmental loads stored in the environmental load value reference information 5a. Predetermined items of environmental loads are automatically detected by means of a variety of sensors.
