<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emulsion ink for inkjet, an ink cartridge, an ink record, an inkjet recorder and an inkjet recording method excellent in clogging resistance, discharge stability, reproducibility of thin lines (feathering), image density, color reproducibility, peripheral bleeding of color (color bleed), strike-through, quick-drying, storage stability (=discharge stability) of ink , scratch resistance, lightfastness, water resistance and moisture resistance. <P>SOLUTION: The emulsion ink for inkjet comprises 10-90 mass% of an oil phase and 90-10 mass% of an aqueous phase, wherein the oil phase contains an oil component having an initial boiling point of 300°C or higher and a nonionic surfactant having an HLB of 3-5 as an emulsifier. Preferably, the oil component is a vegetable oil-modified ester having an iodine number of 100 or less and the nonionic surfactant having an HLB of 3-5 is a polyglycerol hydroxyfatty acid ester. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
